Somerset County Council (SCC) offers, directly or indirectly, a comprehensive range of support and care for its residents.

We maintain, in partnership with the Residential Care Providers Association Somerset, a list of all care homes within the county, and also all of the independent care agencies which provide a wide range of support services for those who wish to remain in their own homes, but need some form of occasional - or regular - care and support. In addition, SCC provides a wealth of information to residents on services available to them.
